The cost of replacing a sewer line can be $5,000 – $10,000. The cost and inconvenience of these repairs can escalate if driveways, landscaping or even sidewalks have to be torn out and replaced. Problems exist in new and old homes alike. Without question, main drain line inspections should be performed on every house.
I will use a video camera to travel through your home’s lateral sewer line, the line that leads from your home and connects to either a publicly owned city tap or septic tank. The state-of-the-art equipment transmits video from the sewer to a monitor above the ground.
You receive a video recording of the inspection so that you can be confident the pipes are clear and in good condition, or provide the video to a contractor for a quotation. I will provide you with a video report of my observations. Just like with home inspections, I don’t perform any repairs so my findings are unbiased and solely based on providing you with valuable information.
